This project seeks to explore and strengthen community ties to the ocean, focusing on local communities’ vital role in marine conservation. Centred around the Rockpool Project, it engages people with coastal ecosystems through hands-on exploration, fostering awareness and a deeper commitment to protecting marine life. By supporting local voices and conservation initiatives, this work aims to inspire sustainable practices and create a lasting impact on ocean stewardship. To do this, I am creating a short film and a series of images highlighting these connections and showcasing the importance of protecting marine ecosystems through community involvement.
